Proton Radiotherapy for Recurrent Tumors

Brief Description Of Study

The purpose of this study is to determine if using proton radiotherapy to re-treat recurrent cancer is feasible.

Clinical Study Identifier: TX1015

Detailed Study Description

While proton radiation therapy is approved for tumors by the US food and Drug Administration (FDA), it has not been widely studied for the re-treatment of recurrent tumors. This study plans to use a newer form of radiation therapy called proton radiation, and to determine if its use is safe and effective in people with different types of cancer. This study is observational, which means participants will not be asked to participate in any investigational treatment.

Additional Information About The Study

Recruiting participants who have a recurrent tumor which was previously treated with radiation and their doctor believes that re-treatment with proton radiation therapy may be good option.
